The Luxury Push Present That Started With Flash Cards
A custom diamond charm for a third-time mom, made by a first-time one
When a client reached out to celebrate the birth of her third child, I was immediately in.
She already had two custom pieces for her older kids and wanted something equally meaningful to mark this next chapter.
As a new mom myself, I was especially excited to design this piece. I had just had my own baby a few months earlier, so I knew exactly what it felt like to want something personal and permanent during a moment that feels like everything’s changing.
Her request was simple: something she could wear every day, on the wheat chain she already owned.
At first, I sketched out something safe. Clean lines. All round diamonds.
But I kept getting served TikToks (new mom algorithm in full effect) with flashcards to help babies learn to read. You know the ones—A is for apple, Z is for zebra. And suddenly, it clicked.
What if every letter of the name had a diamond cut to match?
R for Radiant
O for Oval
M for Marquise
I didn’t have a perfect match. So we flipped a Trillion and called it an Inverted Trillion.
Playful. Personal. A little genius, if I do say so myself.
The final piece was made in 14K gold with lab-grown diamonds (CTW: TBD), designed to slide right onto the necklace she already wore. It’s one of my favorite customs I’ve ever made—and a reminder that inspiration really can come from anywhere.

I was so excited to get this charm to her that I only got one picture. I didn’t even stop to get the perfect shot. I just wanted her to have it. I was in love with the piece and couldn’t wait for her to see it.
